Video Intern
Job description
Our Team
We believe travel can create citizens of the world. We spark moments of connection and transformation, giving people the freedom to explore openly and shape their own story.
With colleagues from more than 50 countries, our diversity fuels curiosity, insight, and a culture of openness, essential to understanding our travellers and one another.
We work in a flexible hybrid model from our Utrecht HQ and our homes across the Netherlands.
Just as travel is about discovery, we’re looking for people who want to go one stop further, joining a journey that inspires personal transformation through train travel.
We’re searching for a Video intern!
You’ll be joining the Creatives and Content team, which focuses on high-quality storytelling for Eurail, covering the full customer journey. As a Video Intern, you will work closely with our video team and social media team to create engaging and inspiring content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms. This role will allow you to contribute to our content creation strategy while honing your technical skills and expanding your creative vision. As part of a diverse, collaborative, and international environment, your ideas and creativity will be valued just as much as your ability to carry out and deliver impactful video content.
What you will be doing:
Assist the video team in creating organic video content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms, ensuring it aligns with Eurail’s brand and values.
Collaborate with Social Media team to develop, produce, and edit engaging short-form content for social media channels, with a willingness to appear on camera when required.
Shoot and edit videos using professional cameras and iPhones, understanding the nuances of both.
Support the production of high-quality videos, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring timely delivery of engaging content.
Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, adhering to Eurail’s visual identity and guidelines.
Stay on top of social media trends, proposing innovative video concepts that resonate with our target audience.
Assist with maintaining video equipment and ensuring it is prepared for use during shoots.
Provide input and ideas during brainstorming sessions to ensure creative quality across platforms.
What we’re looking for in you
You are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Media, Communications, Marketing, Film Production, or a related field.
Basic experience editing videos in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Comfortable shooting content with both professional cameras and smartphones, with a basic understanding of framing, lighting, and audio.
Fluent in English for both written and verbal communications.
Creative and detail-oriented, with a good understanding of social media platforms, trends, and video styles (especially TikTok and Instagram).
Effective time management skills and ability to balance multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
A collaborative mindset and interest in storytelling through video.
Knowledge of motion design or basic graphic design.
Knowledge of AI tools for creative development and video production is an advantage.
An interest in travel, diverse cultures, and connecting with audiences through compelling visual narratives.
Our offer
A monthly internship allowance of €650 (Bachelor’s) or €750 (Master’s).
A travel allowance covering your commute to and from the office.
2 days of paid leave per month.
We offer a flexible hybrid model that combines remote work with in-office days each week, promoting teamwork and connection.
5 working days from abroad per 6 months internship.
A free global travel pass for you and a companion on completion of your internship, so you can explore Europe with your family or friends and share the same experiences as our customers.
Joining monthly borrels and other social events.
The opportunity to make a visible contribution, alongside gaining valuable experience for your future career.
