Your role

You’ll be joining the Creatives and Communications team – the team that focuses on best-in-class storytelling for Eurail, covering the full customer journey.


As part of your role you’ll be:

  • Supporting the PR Manager in developing and driving a global PR and communications strategy, goals, budget, tactics, measurement, and evaluation.
  • Enhancing the company’s voice and presence through content creator and media collaborations.
  • Organising and supervising individual and group press and creator trips.
  • Managing press inbox enquiries with the support of the PR & Comms coordinator.
  • Planning and coordinating events, fairs and conferences.
  • Managing a network of agencies and service providers, including carrying out quarterly calls and agreement updates.


You’ll be involved in:

  • Supporting for the PR and communications response to crisis situations.
  • Supporting the team in planning, writing, preparation, and distribution of engaging communications materials including news and press releases, articles, blog and social media posts, media kits, presentations, FAQs and other updates on behalf of Eurail.
  • Co-operating with colleagues across the organization to align plans and activities and ensure an integrated approach.
  • Evaluating and reporting on our PR efforts to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.


What we’re looking for

In terms of your experience and strengths, we’re looking for;

  • 3-5 years relevant work experience within public relations and communications field within a dynamic, fast-faced environment.
  • Proactive, with a hands-on attitude and are highly self-driven.
  • Relationship-builder with strong inter-personal skills and good team-player.
  • Good understanding of the modern, international media landscape.
  • Experience in project management and execution of PR campaigns and initiatives, including setting targets and evaluation
  • Skills in public speaking and presentation.
  • Experience in balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders, while being comfortable taking decisions
  • Ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Creative yet practical mind.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

In addition, its bonus points if you have…

  • Knowledge of the SAFe framework and/or the agile way of working
  • A love of sustainable travel!
  • Already hold the correct documents to work in the Netherlands
  • Basic knowledge of design tools is a plus
